National Suicide was formed in winter 2005 by guitarist, bass player and singer of an ex-thrash Metal band called Riven. They wanted to continue on the path where they were walking on: playing an OLD SCHOOL THASH METAL with american influence, without any modernism or contact to what isn't metal, and to make a plea: '80s thrash metal hasn't died, neither old or to be taken for granted.
The band starts from the beginning to work on original songs, and in live shows these are accompained by some covers of old school bands like Overkill and Exodus. The first line-up was made up by Bob and Kill at guitars, Ivan at the bass guitar, Ema at drums, Stefano as vocalist. In summer 2006 Tiziano enters at the lead guitar, taking the place of Kill. From that moment, the line-up has never being changed.
The band takes part in many shows and gigs, trying to give its support to the underground scene. In two particolar occasion, they've shared the stage with Napalm Death and Onslaught.
In summer 2007 they enter in Mago Studio to record their first promo, containing their original songs: Sucks N' Artillery, National Suicide, This is a Raid, Into the Clubhouse. In october 2007 the band signs a deal with My Graveyard Productions. |
