Bloody Herald was formed in semptember 2002 by Jack and William who spent 2
years looking for suitable travel companions, meeting dozens of drummers and
singers, never finding anyone good.
The basic idea was to find people who, apart from their music ability, were
realy motivated and moved towards music in a limitless way.
Bloohy Herald have never been a saturday afternoon hobby but a precise
project with clear objectives.
The name itself calls to mind the aim they have adopted: in ancient times
the Herald was the speaker for the king who went into squares of town
screaming the king's word. In the same way Bloody Herald inspired from the
great ones of the past, intend to continue transmetting a dafinite musical
concept.
Continuity but also innovation in order not to fall into the trap of wom
schemes that have been used and abused. It's enough to mention the
influences of each band member: X-japan, l'arc en ciel, glay (adam),
helloween, slayer, slipknot (joey), iron maiden, jason becker, malmsteen
(matt), manowar, bathory, virgin steele (william), the cure, dead can dance,
cradle of filth (jack). These different kinds and ways to think of music
have merged in an homogenous way and every member of the band has ENTICHED
the band adding something personal to it, this creating a recognisable and
innovative style still remaining anchored to a metal basis.
In november 2004 bloody herald became complite when Matt joins the band as
2nd guitarist. Bloody Herald start to play on the stages in Milan getting
the first success with their first demo recorded in 3 days at the Bips
Studio in March 2005. On the 19th november 2005 BH sign a deal with the
independent label My Graveyard Productions; the album is schedulate for
February/March 2006. |
