	Blood Thirsty Demons were born in 1997, formed by Cristian Mustaine. During the first two years some problems arise within the band, which consequently splits up temporarily. During this break, C. Mustaine begins studying Occult topics, gathering old horror movies and focusing his interest towards darker sound which will eventually bring Blood Thirsty Demons back to life, composing Horror Metal hymns inspired by bands such as DEATH SS, PAUL CHAIN, BLACK SABBATH, BLACK WIDOW, ATOMIC ROOSTER, KING DIAMOND, MERCYFUL FATE. The bands keeps on having line-up problems, yet succeds in releasing the first demo-tape, "SOLVE ET COAGULA" in 2000 and a mini-CD in 2001,"SABBATH". In 2002 the Danish label Horror Records releases in a single record (only available as vinyl 12") this first recordings of the band printed in 666 numbered copies follows by a special editions of 66 copies wich included various gadgets. The band thus gets some recognition from outside italian borders, with great reactions from the fans and good reviews from fanzines and bigger magazines, acquiring the status of DEATH SS heirs. A lot of gigs increse the band's strenght and drive, and at the end of 2002 another mini-CD is released,called "A-LIVE", followed in 2003 by a single 7"EP for the german label Metal Coven Records, featuring two tracks from an unreleased demo session. These song will be included in the band's real first full-length "IN THE GRAVE" out in 2004 and released by Cristian Mustaine's personal label, C.M. Releases, and distribuited with the help of Iron Tyrant with good reviews everywhere from the specialized magazine. At the end of the same year the band return in studio and prepare a new album, "LET THE WAR BEGIN" out in April 2005 for the italian label MY GRAVEYARD PRODUCTIONS.
